About Us

An attractive Edwardian house, Uplands is situated in the quiet, timeless resort of Frinton-on-Sea. The town is renowned for its wide sandy beaches, attractive greensward and old world charm. Close to sea, shops and railway station, Uplands makes an ideal base from which to enjoy this peaceful spot or explore the surrounding area. Golf and tennis clubs are also nearby, as are the livelier resorts of Clacton and  Walton. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed with colour T.V., radio alarm clock and tea/coffee making facilities. We have two standard singles, one single en-suite, one twin en-suite, one double en-suite and a family room en-suite. A choice of  breakfasts is offered and special diets can be catered for, with packed lunches available on request. Evening meals are also available out of season.
